Equine Feed

  CFE 10 % Mule & Horse Feed 
This feed is for mature idle or light riding horse that are eating grass or mixed hay/pasture.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Minimum feeding amounts is 6lbs/day for maintenance of (1100lb horses).

This feed can be fed to growing horses if  additional Gro’N Win® is top-dressed.  See chart

Beef/Dairy Feed

  CFE 19% Calf Starter Feed-Medicated
For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle (slaughter, stocker and feeder cattle and dairy and beef replacement heifers) when fed continuously at a rate of no less than 60 mg nor more than 200 mg of Lasalocid per head per day.For control of coccidiosis caused by Eimera bovis and Eimera zuernii in cattle when fed at the rate of 1 mg per 2.2 lb of body weight. Feed a maximum of 360 mg/head/day of Lasalocid.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Start calves on Carrollton 19% Calf Starter as early as possible.  Feed at the rate of 1.5 lb per 100 lb of bodyweight.  This will supply 46 mg of Lasalocid per 100 lb of bodyweight per day, which is the required level of Lasalocid required for the prevention of the above mentioned coccidiosis.  Offer clean, fresh water at all times.  Excellent quality hay should be fed from the second week of life.  Feed to approximately 15 weeks of age.  Then switch to Carrollton 14% Calf Grower.

CFE 14% Calf Grower Feed - Medicated

Feed Carrollton Farmers Exchange Calf Grower to growing heifers, bulls and dairy beef at the rate of 0.75 to 2.5 pounds per 100 lbs. of body weight.  This will supply 13.5 to 45 mg of Lasalocid per 100 lb of bodyweight per day.  Offer fresh clean water at all times.  Feed excellent quality hay to younger calves and good quality forage to older animals.  This is a grower type feed and can be fed from 15 weeks to 2 years of age.  Offer salt and mineral mix free choice.

16% Hi-Energy Dairy

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
For lactating dairy animals, feed at the rate of 1 pound of this ration for each 3 pounds of milk produced.  Feed excellent quality forage and free choice salt and mineral.

CFE 9% Chop Feed

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Brood Cows on pasture:
Feed as a source of energy to adult beef cattle on pasture and dry-lot, where additional energy is required to maintain body weight or condition and herd health.  Free choice salt and mineral mix to Brood Cows.
Cattle:
Animals being raised for market should be top dressed with the appropriate supplement.
Sheep: Feed to mature animals to maintain body condition along with salt and mineral offered free choice.  For growing lambs, feed CFE 16% Lamb Grower.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Feed as the sole ration to growing pigs from 50 lbs. to 140 lbs.  Maintain the pigs in a clean, dry environment with a clean, fresh supply of water.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Feed as the sole ration to finishing hogs from 110 lbs. to market.  Maintain the hogs in a clean, dry environment with a clean, fresh supply of water.


Poultry Feed

Feed as the sole ration on a free choice basis to laying hens consuming at least 22 pounds but less than 25 pounds of feed per 100 birds per day.

CFE 16% Lamb Grower – Medicated
For the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimera ovina, Eimeria crandallis, Eimeria ovinoidalis (Eimeria ninakohlyakimovaie), Eimeria parva and Eimeria intricats in sheep maintained in vonfinement. 

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Feed to provide not less than 15 mg nor more than 70 mg of lasalocid per head per day.  One pound of 16% Lamb Grower contains 11 mg of lasalocid.  Feed high quality forage free-choice and provide clean fresh water at all times. May be diluted with 25% corn to make a 14% finisher diet.

CFE 16% Goat Feed

FEEDING DIRECTIONS
To be fed a the rate of 1% of body weight along with good quality forage to growing goats.  Free choice Buckeye Sheep & Goat Mineral and Buckeye TM Salt with Selenium.
For lactating goats feed at the rate of 1 pound of this ration for each 2.0 pounds of milk produced along with excellent quality forage fed free choice.

  CFE Perennial Plus Forage Mix 

Seed at a rate of 10 lbs. per acre (43,560 sq. ft.) at a depth of 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch in a weed free environment.
This can be accomplished by tillage or chemical control and using no-till or minimum-till planting.  During the establishment year, weeds should not be allowed to grow above the forage mix.  Weed control can be accomplished by chemical application or clipping to the height of the forage.  If frost seeding is desired, seed at a rate of 15 lbs. per acre in the early spring when the temperature is around 20° and there is no snow cover on the ground.

Fertilizing Instructions
A soil sample is recommended to balance Ph and soil nutrient levels (a complete soil analysis can be obtained from Farmers Exchange).
In the absence of a soil sample apply 300# of pelletized lime and 300# of 19-19-19 fertilizer per acre before seeding.
